ROCHESTER, Minn. — A generous present of $60 million from philanthropist Helene Houle of St. Paul, Minnesota, will empower Mayo Clinic to accelerate its attempts to transform health treatment supply in Minnesota.
In honor of the reward, Mayo Clinic will identify the recently done patient mattress tower at Mayo Clinic Medical center — Rochester, Saint Marys Campus, after Ms. Houle’s spouse, the late John Nasseff.
The family’s partnership with Mayo Clinic started when Mr. Nasseff’s youngest son, Arthur Nasseff, experienced lifesaving operation at Saint Marys Medical center in the 1960s when he was 16 years outdated.
